Pilar, a woman with unfaith in God as she experienced by her life losing her love and tried for that for many years. Then she had got that from her childhood friend made her let regain her belief in god and prayer. That's love, has some kind of power to defeat heart that no weapons can. It can make a change in the world.
 On other side, there is a feminine touch in the story that describe through the character of Pilar's lover that he search for the miraculous spiritual gift and he found the feminine face of god through the goddess Mariya and he describing to her lover Pilar about the contribution of women in this world through out the story.
After all, this story is an effusion of two different love, the love that give happiness and the love to be scared. The first one is the love to God through discovering miraculous spiritual gift and the second one is the romantic love.
